George Chryssikos

Founder & Executive Chairman

George Chryssikos has founded Grivalia Hospitality in 2015 to deploy capital in the very attractive high-end hospitality sector in Greece and abroad. The company has already invested in seven hospitality assets with an estimated value of over €1.2 bn.

George founded Grivalia Management Company and has an active leading and managing role. At this moment Grivalia has € 3.2 bn of assets under management and continues capital deployment in the Greek commercial real estate sector.

George served as Chief Executive Officer, Executive BoD member and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the most successful Greek REIT Grivalia Properties. Together with his team, George has completed real estate transactions of over €2 bn in commercial and leisure real estate.

In the past George was Managing Director of Corporate Value Partners, CEO of DTZ in Greece, BoD advisor at Iaso Healthcare Group and Senior Associate in McKinsey & Co at the London Office specializing in private equity. He has also experience in the construction industry in Greece, having worked as Project manager for more than 2 years in a specialized construction company.

George served since 2014 as a Non-executive Member of the BoD of Eurobank Group and for 5 years (2019-2024) as a Vice Chairman, Non-Executive Director of the BoD of Eurobank.

He was also Board Member in several companies including Mytilineos Group (currently Metlen Energy and Metals), Lamda Hellix (currently Digital Realty Greece), Praktiker etc.

Since September 2024 George holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree at the Department of Banking and Financial Management of the School of Finance and Statistics of University of Piraeus.

George holds an MBA in Corporate Finance & Strategy from Columbia Business School (NY), an MSc in Engineering & Construction Management from UC Berkeley (CA) and a MEng in Civil Engineering from National Technical University of Athens. In his younger age, George was a National Champion in sailing and member of the Greek National Sailing Team for many years.

Natalia Strafti

CEO

Natalia Strafti has assumed the role of CEO at Grivalia Hospitality, effective January 1, 2025,. Since July 2021, she has been the Deputy CEO, overseeing critical operations including acquisitions, development, and asset management.

Natalia is a founding partner and serves on the Board of Directors of Grivalia Management Company. Her previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Grivalia Properties REIC from 2014 to 2021, following her tenure as Head of Investments and Asset Management starting in June 2008. Since 2019 she has been a member of the strategic real estate committee of one of the largest systemic financial institutions in Greece advising on real estate matters across sectors, including converting residential and REO assets from cost centers to profit centers. Natalia has directed investments in diverse commercial real estate classes, including significant redevelopment projects of modern, green-certified office buildings and luxury hospitality developments. Her extensive experience encompasses high-value asset management in Greece and Southeastern Europe, along with adeptness in contract management and negotiations with top-tier tenants, hotel operators, developers, and advisors across financial, legal, and technical fields.

Natalia was instrumental in Grivalia Properties IPO and contributed to successful share capital increases and placements with prestigious international institutional investors. She has been part of Grivalia's Sustainability Committee and is an active member of the ULI GR Sustainability Council. Natalia began her career in real estate at EFG Eurobank Group in April 2000, advancing through roles as Deputy Head of Advisory and Asset Management and as an Investment Analyst. She holds a degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Diploma in Valuation and Real Estate from the Greek Institute of Valuation in partnership with the Association of Sworn Valuers.

Harry Anastaselos

Group Chief Legal Officer

Harry Anastaselos holds the position of Group Chief Legal Officer in Grivalia Hospitality heading the Legal and Corporate Governance affairs of both the Company and its more than 50 subsidiaries. He has been actively involved with Grivalia Hospitality since its inception in 2015 and served also at its Board of Directors during the period 2016-2019. In the past, he held the positions of Senior Partner- Legal in Grivalia Management Company (2019- 2022) and Head of Legal in the listed Grivalia Properties REIC (2010-2019). He has been a qualified lawyer since 2003 practicing in corporate, capital markets, real estate and contracts law.

Harry is passionate about investments. He has been involved and supported a series of successful investments of more than €1 billion that spanned through different commercial real estate assets (from office buildings & complexes, retail big boxes and logistics, to high- end operating resorts including greenfield and redevelopment projects). He has significant experience in complex transactions involving cross- border elements, M&As, setup of holding and project SPVs, joint venture agreements, negotiation and execution of SPAs, project finance, construction and development agreements as well as international hotel management agreements with top flag operators.

As part of his current duties, he serves in various Grivalia Hospitality subsidiaries boards and as the Board’s Corporate Secretary. He sits also at the Board and oversees the legal affairs of Grivalia Management Company, a company that manages more than 3bln euro of real estate assets.

He holds a bachelor’s in Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and two Master of Laws (LLM), in Financial Law from Goethe University of Frankfurt (Institute for Law and Finance) and in Public International Law (emphasis on International Economic Law) from the London School of Economics. He has also completed several management courses, while he is actively seeking new intellectual challenges.

Christian Thomas

Chief Financial Officer

Christian Thomas holds the position of Group CFO for Grivalia Hospitality since May 2022. He is a member of the leadership team, and his responsibilities include Accounting, Control, Consolidation, Reporting, Budgeting, Tax, Treasury, as well as Strategic Partnership with all the other Divisions of the Group.

Christian holds a BSc in Economics and an MSc in Information Systems , both from the London School of Economics in the UK. He is also a qualified FCA member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales since 2002.

For the past 25 years, he has been working in Managerial and C-suite positions. He began his career in 1999 at PwC in London, whilst from 2005 to 2010, he worked as Group CFO at Iberdrola for Greece & Cyprus. In 2010, he was appointed Deputy General Manager at KPMG in Greece in the M&A Division, whilst for the period 2017-2019 he actually led as CEO – Head of Advisory for KPMG in Greece. From 2019-2022, he was appointed as Group CFO at the largest company in Greece (the Hellenic Petroleum Group) and stepped down right after the successful completion of its corporate transformation.

He fluently speaks Greek, English and French, he is married and has one daughter.

Antonis Chatzikostas

Chief Development Officer

Antonis holds the position of Chief Development Officer in Grivalia Hospitality.

Since 2019 is a Partner in Grivalia Management where in the period until 2022 he was Head of Portfolio managing 1.3 bil. € of commercial assets (office buildings & complexes, retail, big boxes and logistics). By the end of 2019 he has been actively supporting Grivalia Hospitality by leading the Asteria Glyfada’s redevelopment project, a high-end resort to be operated by a renowned hotel operator. In the period between 2016 – 2019, he was Portfolio Management Director of Grivalia Properties REIC, responsible for the management of all Grivalia’s assets in Greece and abroad, while he also supported the company’s procedures with respect to new investments.

Antonis has diversified experience in the sectors of real estate development, retail, consulting, and construction. Since 2001 he has focused on the real estate market and his track record includes cooperation in senior level with ASE listed corporations. He has worked as Development Director and Executive BoD member for Pasal Development SA , Deputy General Manager for INTRADEVELOPMENT SA (Intracom Group of Companies), Project Manager and later on Project Director for REDS SA (ELLAKTOR Group) as well as Project Engineer (civil works) for TITAN Cement Company. He has also worked as an external consultant for HSBC Bank (Greek branch) on issues related to valuation of residential properties and has also served as a Non-Executive BoD member in Trastor R.E.I.C (ex-PIRAEUS R.E.I.C).

He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School. He is also member of Technical Chamber of Greece, of the Association of Greek Valuers and he has been certified as Recognized European Valuer (REV/TEGOVA).

Andreas Parmaxis

Group HR – Compliance Officer

Andreas Parmaxis holds the position of Group HR & Compliance Officer in Grivalia Hospitality and its subsidiaries. He has been actively involved in Grivalia Hospitality since its establishment.

Formerly, he held the position of HR & Compliance - Risk Partner in Grivalia Management Company (2019-2022) and HR & Compliance - Risk Head in the listed Grivalia Properties REIC (2014 – 2019). Prior to that, he served as the Internal Auditor of Grivalia Properties REIC for seven years. He actively participated in two share capital increases of Grivalia Properties’ as well as in the Company’s organizational restructuring. In the past he worked as Controller of the Shipping Company Marmaras Navigation, as Internal Auditor of Securities Company Merit A.E.P.E.Y. and as an external partner of the Consulting Company Kantor Management Consultants.

Andreas also serves in Grivalia Hospitality Executive Committee and on the Boards of Directors of Grivalia Management Company and Praktiker. In the past he has served as committee secretary in several committees such as the Remuneration Committee and Investment Committee of Grivalia Properties.

He holds an MSc. in Internal Auditing and Management from City University of London (CASS Business School) and a BSc in Public Administration from Panteion University of Athens. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and has attended several related courses.

Bart van de Winkel

Chief Asset Management Officer

Bart joined the Grivalia Hospitality in the capacity of Chief Asset Management Officer, as of 1st March 2024. Bart and his team oversee a variety of operations, these being: 91 Athens Riviera, The Resort,  Grivalia Sea Service, Branded Residences as well the portfolio of Ultra Luxury hotels; Amanzoe, Avant Mar, ON Residence and One&Only.

Bart had been working in the hospitality industry with Hilton International, since 1980. Prior to his first appointment as General Manager, Bart worked initially in the F&B departments followed by Operations Analyst. His passion in Food and figures have assisted him in his various assignments. Bart’s first appointment as General Manager was in Budapest, in 1991.  From there on he traveled throughout Europe, to become Vice President for Food& Beverage for UK & Ireland. His last appointment with Hilton was in 2006, as Area General Manager for the Eastern Mediterranean .

In 2022 he joined HVS Southern Europe to oversee the Asset Management side for the Southern Europe.
